2020 has gotten off to a busy start at CISA, and we’d love to share what we’ve been up to.
Our Honorary Board Chair, Reza Moridi, attended Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization (OBIO)’s 2020 Niagara Investment Summit in Niagara Falls with CISA’s Tony Wang in February. This is Canada’s premier health science investment event. They met with many innovative Canadian businesses, and were able to identify several companies that look like good candidates for follow-up with our network of investors.
CISA members also visited by Michael May and Michael Israels at the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) to get an update of their exciting expansion plans and introduce CISA. We identified several areas to work together, and look forward to helping build and support Ontario’s innovation ecosystem in this emerging and game changing field.
CISA will once again be attending MaRS Health Innovation Week events, running from March 30th to April 3rd. We hope to build on last year’s success of identifying quality innovative Canadian businesses with whom we can establish lasting relationships for years to come.
